Whether it be in production of high valued crops, AgriEntertaiment, education be it formal or informal or any of the other avenues that you - as a participant in this conference - have chosen to embark on. How can we be nimble and seek out wins during these challenging times that have been presented to us?

Vaughn has been a lifelong horticulturist. His professional career started on Long Island manging a 1 acre hydroponic salad & herb greenhouse & 20 acres of specialty veg. He returned to Nebraska to work at the University of Nebraska as a Research Tech in the viticulture program and ultimately became a Extension Educator focusing on specialy crops and local foods. During his time UNL he also had a joint appointment with the Dept. of Interior as a Ag Advisor in Afghanistan working with farmers in the Paktya Province. He is currently the Ag Manager at Vala's Pumpkin Patch and Orchard overseeing 50 acres of pumpkins & squash, 40 acres of high density apples & 5 acres of sunflowers & zinnias.
